Just an update on Chris for everyone. He is doing fantastic and having an incredible time. He is pretty tired as his day starts at about 5am, has an hour commute and does not get home until 8pm. He has joined a bunch of school clubs including the Kodo club (this picture) as well as Kendo which he says he is very soar from. He is also very good at the Koto which is a traditional Japanese stringed instrument. He has adjusted well and is learning a lot, he said it is a bit of struggle to practice speaking Japanese as the other kids want to show how well they speak English. He also mention that while he is in a grade 10 equivalent class they are working at a math level that he was working at in grade 12 here. Finally I didnt think I would ever here this but he is trying all kinds of new foods. He told us that he has learnt to not to ask what it is but just eat it. Most of the time it is very good. He even ate eel the other day.
