Just as God has enriched the earth with all natural resources so has He also enriched man with all spiritual blessings. Man only needs to realise that these things have always been there and they did not come yesterday. Neither did they come the day you got saved . They were there even before the foundation of the world and they are waiting to be discovered . One cannot die of lack when he discovers he is that rich. All the fullness of God dwelt in the man Jesus Christ. We are ignorant of the fact that when God created the first man of Genesis Chapter 1, He did not create something separate from Himself. He created him with the same substance that He was and the same life that He was so that man may become the expression of what the father/creator was. In creating man God extended himself. The Bible says We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do the good works which were foreordained before the foundation of the world. Everything is inside waiting to be discovered and then to be utilized. Our petition to God should not be to give as things or abilities (like healing power etc ) for He has already given .Rather it should be that He open our eyes that we may see or discover that which we already posses. Of course He does not just heal but He gives healthy bodies. The Bible says that all those who went to Jesus for healing were made whole. Elisha did not pray to God for more soldiers when his servant complained about :-the magnitude of the enemy but instead he prayed to God to open his eyes to see the great army that was already on their side.
