Just as a road way needs stoplights we need the commandments. As traffic we need structure and direction to prevent us from collision. Therefore Gods commandments werent constructed to confine and restrict us but rather protect us. His structure is perfect. Being a perfect structure enables us to not only succeed in this life but to progress by building upon the truths we are already standing on.
