Just back from the eye doctor. He confirmed what I suspected. I have a fast progressing cataract that will require surgery in the next year. The other bad news was I also have macular degeneration. He prescribed eye vitamins and sunglasses to slow its progress. He couldnt even see how bad it is in my right eye because of the cataract. Good news was insurance paid for most of the expensive exam and glasses. I see leafy green veggies, vitamins and wearing glasses a lot in my future. And cataract surgery.
