Just because Robert McBride was once involved in the killing of white people during a bombing in the 80s does not mean white people cant object to him being the head if IPID. McBride has been a controversial character since the bombings including being involved in gun-smuggling, assault, bullying and drunk-driving cases. Whether McBride has been acquitted or not for all those charges methinks a position like being head of IPID is not suitable for a tainted personality like McBride and every SA citizen (black or white) has a right to raise such concerns and be sceptical about him.
