Just because a kitty has a tipped ear doesnt necessary mean the kitty is feral. It means that the kitty has been neutered/spayed and thought to be feral by someone working at the shelter who had them spayed/neutered. This is part of the Trap/Neuter/Return approach for ferals. Sushi and Laurels ears were both tipped when neutered even though both are such sweet friendly kitties. JB was a kitty that was found with Sushi and Laurel but he was deemed non-feral and so his ear was not tipped. I fostered all of them for 3 months earlier this year. Both of these two big kittens found a home thanks to Austin Pets Alive!
