Just because the USA said that UFOs are not a real phenomena....does not mean that every nation holds the same conclusions. Many nations have open and ongoing investigations into UFOs/UAPs at top federal levels. The Cometa Report was prepared after lengthy investigation into claims and witness interviews, considering data retrieved from landing sites, radioactive materials left behind, the angel hair phenomenon, amidst clearance with other nations about active Black Ops military technology. The Cometa Report was prepared for the President of France in 1999 and is taken seriously in the nation of France as a phenomena.... The same phenomena that was taken as seriously in the United States UNTIL Pres. Nixons Admin ended all investigations into UFOs, declaring every sighting ever to be reported from the beginning of time until as far into the future as one could imagine, to be nothing more than benign swamp gas. The swamp gas theory was propagated after a mass sighting in Michigan which involved police and other professional witnesses. The mass sighting went up the ranks until it landed in future President Gerald Fords lap, as a representative of the state. J Allen Hynek, the head of Project Blue Book for over 20 years, a man who had investigated/questioned most of the witnesses of the initial waves of the phenomena in the mid-20th Century. The USAFs investigation was instructed by the USAF to supply an excuse to the public to quiet the assumed panic. Hynek came out in favor of the presence of UFOs, but only AFTER Nixon ended Project Blue Book citing the USAF produced Condon Report as all the evidence one needed to disengage the American public from the goings on of what could only be Extraterrestrial interactions with powers that be. Hynek retracted the swampgas theory prior to dying in the mid 1980s. He claimed he was pressured to end the panic with a plausible ruse. One can see a shot of Hynek immortalized as one of the government officials sent to investigate the return of Flight 19 at the beginning of Steven Spielbergs Close Encounters of the Third Kind. By the time Hynek passed away, he had admitted to investigating many claims he could not explain with modern science as we know it.
