Just been to the vets this morning. Nina has to go every few months for check up .She on meds for life and has to have check ups regular before she can continue taking the medication. Every time i go the vet asks if i want her to do a blood test to see if her kidneys are working properly. My reply is no not at the moment as she is stil healthy. I just paid out a hundred and 6 pound for her checkup medication and wormer pills. So why do vets always want to make more money out of us pet owners when our pets are feeling well.in themselves . I would know if Nina.s kidneys were failing she be sick all the time feeling lethargic. Apart from a damaged leg Nina is healthy . I told the vet if Nina starts suffering any of the symptoms that is connected with Kidney problems then i will take her to have a blood test. I think vets some times try it on with pet owners .
