Just before Christmas, as part of the Highways Agency’s plan for expanding smart motorways and easing traffic, new grey cameras were introduced on the M25. The devices use front and rear-facing cameras to verify speed and can scan four lanes at a time. Since they were rolled out 668 drivers have received fines. Have you seen the new cameras? Was it harder for you to spot them despite the signs indicating their presence?
