Just before the Big Bang, all the known matter in the universe was - TopicsExpress

Just before the Big Bang, all the known matter in the universe was only hydrogen but an astounding amount. Compressed very tightly to the size of a point that is known as ‘the singularity’. This compressed hydrogen could fit on a dime. Then something happened to cause it to explode. It might have simply been that whatever force had been holding it in compression was suddenly released. For whatever reason, this vast amount of hydrogen was propelled into the universe with great force and speed and the resulting temperatures caused the first stars to be born. In the process of turning hydrogen into helium, stars cast off vast quantities of metals into space. It is the corrosive and heating processes that break these raw materials into all of the matter we know today. The only thing we have discovered in the universe that takes matter and turns it back into hydrogen are the black holes that are found at the center of every galaxy in our universe. Black holes are the only thing in the universe with enough power to compress vast amounts of hydrogen into something so small like the singularity. We have never found the opposite end of a black hole because they literally rip through the fabric of our universe and vanish. A new theory; at the end of every black hole, new universes are formed. If the force that caused the birth of our own universe was a black hole then time has been passing forever.
