Just bought a trolley load of stuff for the food bank in Wisbech (they were collecting in Tesco). I have to say I was heartened by the amount of people donating. My dad was very keen to donate too. I know its not what its all about, but it made me feel good in between the waves of anger. Poverty doesnt abate because its Christmas. Please, when you are shopping, buy an extra bag of savers pasta or a can of tomatoes or a carton of juice. It will only cost you 50p or a quid at most. Stick them in a bag and take it down to your local food bank before Christmas. It just may put a smile that had been missing on someones face.
