Just came out of my High School Musical Marathon. thoughts; -The 1st one is the best narrative wise. It has alot of weird quirks and the way it uses music is both smart and confusing, but it overall holds up. -The 2nd movie has the best music by far. It is stuff that is STILL stuck in my head. The second movie has the most amount of dumb jokes I think I still use to this day. Narrative wise it kind of had faults, but also builds off the first well. -The 3rd one... its okay. Its not bad or anything, but it really feels like they were cheap making it, and running dry on ideas. Its not awful, but it is not a necessary addition. It also builds on the story well, but most of it is just there. If you can get past the camp, cheesiness, and weirdness of the whole thing, its actually not a bad watch. Disney channel movies arent ever really bad, just low grade. This is one of the better ones theyve made and atleast deserves one watch. Now if youll excuse me...
