Just checked my email before leaving the office and this is what one of my students from the Spring semester sent me: I just want to say thank you for the sincerity and passion you brought to the classroom this year. I know you don’t do it for the money, and I speak for all of your students who are not publicly crying about their grades when I say your efforts were thoroughly appreciated. Keep doing what you do because what youre doing is truly making a difference. Probably shows a degree of weakness to need/want validation, but this really made my day! It probably helps that he made an A, but I will take it, nonetheless.
