Just curious... do you know any massage therapists that specialize in healing the healer, or massaging the massage therapist as it were??? They say finding your niche is the key to successful branding, and as far as my ideal massage client Ive always struggled to land on exactly who that is. It dawned on me though, that some of the best massage sessions Ive ever been honored to be a part of, were with other massage therapists. Since self-care is so vital to a CMT, its a huge market for return customers. I figure the chances are pretty significant that other CMTs will have easy access to a table... and that saves my back lugging it in and out of the Honda. I also wouldnt have to deal with the experience curve that comes with the profession, and in most cases could get right to it. For Therapeutic Massage, I currently operate solely as out-call in western Northern Virginia, and I think this would be a great niche for me. My fellow CMTs... your thoughts on this? There would surely be a discount for the table being on site. Do you use a service like this, or would you if it were available???
