Just finished - needed some time to travel through time since the story was set in 1988, with less technologies around, like not having the convenience of a hp & also needed time to adapt & understand the racist society the story is set. I only got hooked half way through, loved the trial dramas, Jake Brigance for unknown reasons reminded me of David Zinc from the “Litigator – John Grisham”. I can’t believe I was teary eye reading a story within a story by Ancil Hubbard at the end, I kind of liked the colourful characters Lucien Wilbanks, Harry Rex & Booker Sistrunk :)
