Just finished making pancakes for breakfast... and theres one thing that always bugs me... I use a Betty Crocker recipe. Fine recipe, they turn out great... no complaints on the final product. But theres this one little unimportant thing that drives me nuts: It calls for one tablespoon of sugar, and three teaspoons of baking powder. WHY??? Theyre the same measurement. Its like calling for two cups of flour and a pint of milk. Its like calling for a pound of mushrooms and 16 ounces of steak. It makes no sense. I personally think this is part of a conspiracy, in the works for a century, to drive me crazy so I cant write any more political columns about vote fraud and the economic illiteracy of the Left. I know.... it sounds paranoid... but just because Im paranoid, that doesnt mean Betty Crocker isnt still out to get me!!! John F. Di Leo
