Just finished my LAST CHEMO TREATMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While there is still a long road ahead, (surgery and radiation) I feel like the worst part is over. I have another mammo and an MRI the end of Dec., but except for a few doctor visits, The next month or month and a half is for recuperation. I want to thank everybody for all their support the last few months. I have been overwhelmed by notes, texts, care packages, funny posts, private messages, and your prayers. I can definitely feel the love and it has all helped so much. Thank you, thank you!! I do request continued funnies and most of all prayer. It is easy to be upbeat and funny for a few minutes on Facebook. Its a different story 24/7. This in mind, I want to thank Bill McGinnis for his superior care. He has been my Stepandfetchit, chief cook and bottle washer, care manager (I havent had to make a single appointment or deal with one bill the entire time), rubbed my legs when the Taxol gave me pain, made me laugh even when I didnt feel like it,held my scalp when I was throwing up in the middle of the night, and only laughed a little when I threw up in the front yard for all the neighbors to see.(That was awesome.) Hes gone to every single appt except two and that was because I had to insist he sleep in. These and more things too numerous to mention. All of this without complaining even once. Hes been my rock. I could NOT have done this without him. Thank you Mac. I love you more than I can say.
