Just got back from Parizampa where I joined my parents and sisters at the 21 Tara Zhingkham Lhagang...the only Temple in the world dedicated to the Blessed Tara; 21 manifestations of the Mother Goddess. Got behind the steering wheel and negotiated the long, winding road all the way from Motithang, past Dechenchholing Palace, RBG Cantonment to the parking by the giant cypresses...driving like this after years!!! The White Tara is BLISS...exquisite...each carving, each image... breathtaking, intricate murals...each ornate ceiling adorned by a blessed mandala...what an incredibly amazing journey and accomplishment for my sister. I applaud her vision, her strength, her hard work and the sheer will to see this project from a yearning...a divine direction, to its glorious completion!!! Tomorrow, the inaugural ceremony will throw open the gates of yet another jewel offering to the Land of the Thunder Dragon...a legacy for our future, a treasure to be proud of and thankful for!!!
