Just got back from visiting my lil sister at the cemetery.. Needed to clear my mind for a bit & still feeling unforgivable hatred towards someone dat at one time, I wouldve laid my life down for. I see on Facebook a good amount of people talking about how terrible this Easter has been for them.. 2 years ago, I was behind bars, facing a Life sentence again for the 3rd time. Id given up, resigned myself to the thought of never setting foot again in the free world. Then on Easter Sunday, we had some volunteers come to celebrate church with us inmates, & they played this song for us. It was a group of 20 of us men, all facing 10yrs or more. While listening to this song, I can say that I believe that the Holy Spirit took over within me. I choked up, my eyes got watery, & my voice trembled as I asked God to take over my life. This song impacted me in a way which nothing else ever has. I dont know if it was the music, the lyrics, or the message, but I can honestly say that it was a life changing moment for me. I dont front nor claim to be some saint, but I kaint deny that ive been extremely blessed. In the midst of my current battles & ongoing storms, I need a few people to know that Im praying for them during their own trials & tribulations. I leave you now with a very misinterpreted verse from the Bible. Philippians 4:13 doesnt refer to success, but rather the capability of withstanding anything & everything that may come our way... #PrayingForYouAll
