Just got back in from my nightly stoll. Even though it is cold, I love this time of year. The smell of an oak fire drifting wiffs through the air. Stars hand like diamonds from a black velvet sky. Farm animals all of different breeds snuggle contently for warmth. The russeling of leaves as a creature of the night searches for food. The warm glow of a dim light in my house reminds me of the love inside. The world seems content and at peace right now. I love this time of year.
