Just got finished watching a piece on Sportscenter where the head coach of the Aleda (TX) HS football team had a Bullying complaint filed against him by a parent of one of the opposing players after winning a game by a score of 91-0. They scored 13 touchdowns on only like 32 plays. He stated that he did everything possible to keep the score down but it just didnt work. It was also revealed that if a HS football team in the state of Connecticut wins by more than 50 points, the coach is suspended for the next game. Really? Maybe the state should implement divisions to keep that to a minimum. I could see enforcing sanctions if there was evidence of intentionally trying to score 100 points but to punish a team because they were simply successful is just plain ridiculous. This type of thinking is right in line with the There should be no losers frame of thought. Crazy.
