Just got home after being out for 16 hours. Highlight of the day? bagging THREE monsoon dresses for £21.50. One with the labels still on. Lowest moment of the day? Extracting a very heavy black bin bag from a dustbin at the cricket club. Just so heavy. I pulled and pulled and finally the black bag came out. It sounded a bit like a vacuum sucking sort of noise. The bin bag was released to reveal half a dustbin of old skanky vomit, diluted by about three or four weeks of rain water. Left over from the last social function. The unholy stench, and I use the term wisely, sent the opposition running to gather their bags and head off home. They had all disappeared within 5 minutes. As we took such a thrashing today, I wish I had done it earlier!
