Just got reamed out by a patient for the doctors not being there. A lot of what you do in the hospital is wait. You wait for tests, then wait for results. You wait on food, your meds, the doctors. You are scared, you are sick, and your back hurts from sitting in those awful beds. We get it more than you think but yet we are mostly helpless to the process and system. What and how the guy spoke to me kind of ruined my day and mood because I am sensitive but I just have to keep on understanding that I am the lucky one because I am not in that bed and have so much to be thankful for. Note to self...keep working on thicker skin :)
