Just got word from the vet that Jazzs death was caused by a large malignant tumor next to his heart that burst and bled into his chest cavity. A hemangiosarcoma which is common in large breeds and very aggressive. Nothing we could have done I guess and not caused by me leaving him. This gives me great peace. I still hate more than anything not being with him while this happened. So glad that a good friend was holding him though and he did not die alone. Thanks again everyone for your kind words during this difficult time. My heart is broken. RIP Jazzy Dog. July 1, 2003 - March 27, 2014.
