Just had a call from a Mr Stuart Coleman claiming to be from the visa fraud squad saying that there had been unusual activity on my bank account including a £700.00 withdrawal to a Mr Robert Carberry. When I suggested going online to check he informed me not to because this would make it difficult for them to trace the transactions. He told me he didnt want me to give him any details because he was aware that hed called me but instead to call the number on the back of my card to for security! Of course when I ended the call he didnt so if Id called the visa number I would have got straight back to him and then he would have asked me to verify my account details. I did go to the bank to check my account and they said I was the third person to contact them today. I didnt fall for the scam but more vulnerable people might. Please let people know this scam is doing its rounds.
