Just had an amazing dinner at Locanda Della Valle Nuova in Le Marche Italy. Antipasto which was local salami, two different local pecorino cheeses, fig jam, homegrown gherkin, sweet and sour peppers, caramelised onion. Next course the most divine artichoke risotto, then home grown beef served with greens and potato. Finally home made apricot jam tarts. All this served with local red and white wine and a choice from a number of home grown liqueurs. Sue had Elderberry flower and I had Erbe which was a number of herbs including basil, rosemary, mint - powerful stuff - feel a headache coming on. Tomorrow we plan to go to Urbino to the market and explore the town.
