Just in from an auto wreck. One in a car and 4 - 5 in another. Helocopter for one and 2 ambulance transported the others with the help of a third ambulance from DeKalb. MFD Guys worked well with the ambulance to help load and backage the patients they while waiting for the third ambulance the EMTs supported the patient who seemed to be banged up but otherwise ok. The only problem in one of these is bystanders who want to get in close to watch. They do not understand that they get in the way of the two crews as they move about helping one another. I tried to explain that these guys may turn suddenly and knock one of them down as they go for equipment. Granted, some are concerned for someone they know but our crews need room. Plus in the heat we need air to move to help cool us.
