Just like I instruct others in demos, workshops, and classes, I watched this vid all the way through first. I was moaning & groaning as I watched, thinking about my 2 old knee injuries and 2 recent-past ankle injuries. I could not hang with 45 reps each in one session, so I unapologetically modified. This sistar is on point, but I did 10 reps or 2 sets of five on each side, where applicable. Since I slacked off on daily practice all summer, I had a hard time keeping abs engaged & shoulders over hips with the faster pace, even though I was only doing 10 reps each. I slowed down to stay connected to my inhales & exhales & in proper alignment. Absolutely, no jumping or hopping for me! I lifted my heels instead. In addition to returning to 5 am home practice, my plan is to keep the reps reduced for two or three weeks, doing a midday & evening session; then increase to follow along by mid-October. You gotta Know Thy Self! Itll be a slower, but steadier burn & theres less chance of me throwing the towel.
