Just like Peter who tried to follow Jesus walking on the water, we are plagued by doubts and fear. The many disappointments we experience in life shape the way we perceive and interact with the world. However, if we remember that God is loving and all powerful, we can start to believe that, despite the many obstacles and difficulties we encounter, God will find a way to help and save those who ask for his help. Today, we ask for the grace to call upon God for guidance and support. We ask to be reminded that Jesus reached out to help Peter despite his doubts and imperfections.
