Just like monuments to the Jewish Holocaust, We need our own monuments...to be reminded about how flag waving patriotic colonists decimated our people here in these very lands and erased us from their history books as uncivilized vermin.The ones conquered and broken by the boarding school experience were then trained to fight the colonizers foreign battles like pawns. If we study the founding of these United States, the pattern that came up often was ROME. We the People did not include Native Americans, African Americans, or Women. We cant allow anyone to dismiss our history by saying oh every people have been a colonizer at one time or other which sounds pretty much like get over it. This has little to do with forgiveness.This is about uncovering years of lies and deception.Its uncovering the truth about US founding fathers.THIS land was simply TAKEN and divided up by foreign invaders and their descendants and the aboriginal inhabitants were pushed off and killed as terrorists if they resisted. We have our heroes, our FREEDOM FIGHTERS who wouldnt submit to tyranny and died fighting against it. We honor them and perhaps someday ALL Americans will as well.
