Just made my donation for Universal Little League at First Victoria Bank located 6670 So. Staples across from Golds Gym, Staples & Timbergate. I know any amount would be appreciated. For those of you that want to contribute you can also go today Friday from 4-7pm outside Carroll High School, 5301 Weber. Donations will be collected in the parking lot or at the intersection. 11 am to 4 pm Sunday at Dazzling Events, 6102 Ayers St. Roasted corn will be sold for $3 per ear. T-Shirts will be sold for $20, with proceeds going towards parents travel. If you have ever had your child involved in any time of sports the most important thing to any athlete any age is to be able to look in to the stands and see your Mom and Dad on the bleachers cheering you on. As stated in the Caller Times, parents have felt the squeeze of gas, hotels, and other expenses they have paid to attend games during the past five weeks. We are such a loving and giving community for youth sports I have faith in God that we will all continue donating to support this wonderful Little League team that is making history by being the first team to make to the Little League World Series in Williamsport PA.
