Just on Channel 2 News...Victorias Secret had over 300 pairs of panties stolen yesterday! This is the 12 time that thieves had hit this store since 2012. I knew this because news like this travels rapidly among store owners. When I was looking for a store front the leasing agent at The Avenues told me that most of the chain stores dont prosecute thieves/shoplifters which is why those stores get targeted so often. Pennys Closet does prosecute to the fullest extent of the law! The last woman that shoplifted from us was surprised when my husband showed up at every court appearance! It can take a lot of time because it seems that it gets postponed several times. My husband told her lawyer, You can postpone this a thousand times but I am retired and I have the time to appear in court till we make her pay for stealing from us! Make no mistake...I dont play when someone is stealing from me! I work far too hard for my money to let thieves steal my profits! Oddly enough, most of what has been stolen has been crosses or spiritual jewelry! Lol, we love the cameras that we have at Pennys Closet and I can even pull up all the cameras from my cell and watch when I am not there! Technology is amazing!
