Just put Master Tracy to bed about 30 mins ago. Put a load of clothes in the dryer and another load in the washer. Sitting here with lots on my mind and trying to sort through stuff IN my mind, when all the sudden my washer gets off balance! THAT SOUND!! The sound like the walls are gonna come down in the house. So, I go and shift some of the articles of clothing around to balance it out and then turn it back on. As it hits the spin cycle, sounds like its all balanced out. I was coming back to the kitchen to straighten it up and it hit me like a ton of bricks! How many times in my life have I gotten off balance with putting more stuff and time in one place and less in the places where I should put it and not realizing it, UNTIL…………THAT SOUND!!!!! The sound of God letting me know that I am way off balance!! Thats when I have to get my priorities in line with God and ask for forgiveness for letting things get unbalanced!! Ughhhhh, how often does this happen to me? Quiet often!! I admit, sometimes its hard to focus, because of the demands of this world. But, thats when I have to stop and say, Lord, I really need to stop and focus on You and Your will! I need to spend more time with You and less in the things that dont matter! I need to talk to You more and not worry about what someone else is doing or has done! I just need to spend more time at Your feet like Mary, than be a fussy busy body like Martha!! When Im with YOU, I am balanced. But, when Im not, I make that LOUD irritating noise of being off balanced!! Are you feeling off balanced? Just talk to HIM and spend time with HIM, because HE understands! God, You know me better than anybody, because You made me and formed me! Forgive me when I get off balance and busy with things of no importance! I love You and I want to be with You in Your presence! You know the demands that are placed upon me, please help me to stay balanced in Your will! Lib
