Just read a post of a very sacrificial nursing mom who was donating milk to a friend who was not able to breast feed her infant due to an illness. Since our own preemie was given that incredible gift the first few days of her life I was very touched. Anyone in the Portland area considering donating breast milk I would encourage you to look up the donor info at Doernbechers childrens hospital. Its super easy and an incredible way to help a preemie or medically fragile baby.
