Just read a short film review in the Portland Mercury newspaper that "20 Feet From Stardom" is in town. The film is a documentary, primarily about black women background singers who worked with Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson, Sting, The Rolling Stones and others and "asks big questions about fame, art and giving credit where credit is due," (Elinor Jones, The Portland Mercury, p. 39, Vol. 14, no. 7 issue).
