Just read and I Hope I have the correct understanding but jesus speaks of the dead in the bible as they are simply asleep, resting with no knowledge, no memories nothing, and that they will one day rise(2nd coming of christ) some will awaken to receive eternal life and some will awaken for eternal damnation. So the dead is but a resting body/soul until the return of christ. Im pretty sure alot think that once you die you either go to heaven or hell at that exact moment which I never really felt that was how it was now I confirmed what I basically already knew. Good stuff, good stuff!
