Just read that one of my last years students accepted The Lord tonight! Praise God! Prayed for this one, as he had a bunch of stuff to deal with last year. I pray that something one of his instructors said or did was a witness to him. Sometimes you wonder if anyone is listening as you blather and blither in front of the class. Sometimes you just wonder, What am I doing this for? Might as well just quit. Then you get news like this, and alls right with the world again! So proud of him! So proud of what God has done and I going to do in his life! My prayers are with him as he starts his walk with Jesus. Ive reached an age where All my filters are off! So, Heres a few things Ive learned in the 40 years of my walk. 1. Travel light. Let Jesus do the packing! For my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. 2. You can make it---with Jesus as your Source. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. 3. Rely on His promises. Trust in The Lord with all thine heart, lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. 4. Jesus loves ME! And nothing can change that! Nothing shall separate us from the love of God... 5. Staying positive and happy keeps you strong! Makes the devil mad too. The joy of The Lord is my strength! 6. By giving you receive. Give and it shall be given unto you---pressed down, shaken together, and running over! 7. Develop a servants heart. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. 8. Forgive. For your sake, not theirs. For what justice you show, he same will be shown to you. 9. Love is an action verb, not just an emotion. . For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him shall gave everlasting life. 10. Do not worry! Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, with prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, kept your requests be made known unto God. And the peace if God that passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. By no means all inclusive, but not a bad start. Make things right before it is too late.
