Just realized I didnt post a pic of our Thanksgiving dinner, but Ive got my kids and thats more important to me than bragging about how wonderful my hickory smoked turkey turned out, or how amazing the oven roasted red potatoes were, and so on. But what I CAN post, is a thank you to God and let everyone see it because not a single bit of this would be possible without him. Ive gone from being an excited family man, to the hurt and depression that came when Brandi left. Yall have seen my posts of where I was at my lowest and then trying to do things on my own and ending up being someone that was beneath who I really am. A lot of my own family even gave up on me. But one day around mid March , I really think God had enough of me and stepped in and removed some people and added a few that he knew would be better for me. Things just started being different. Not good or bad... Just different. I began seeing things and found someone I could bounce my thoughts off of, and he usually could show me verses in the bible to explain my questions. Once I quit trying to do it on my own, and lay my worries at his feet... It all changed. So, today, on this day of thanksgiving... I thank The Lord Jesus Christ for everything I have and everything Ive lost....thanks to Brandi, too, for letting me have these awesome kids this week. My daughter and I have really been getting along and its fantastic. Dylan is such a clown too.... I love these kids so much. Happy thanksgiving to each and every one of yall.
