Just received an extraordinarily impersonal letter from Ninewells concerning the procedure for arranging an appointment. Most of it consists of pro-forma bullshit about the NHSs 18 week pathway and access policy, but with an emphasis on certain caveats that would excuse the hospital from meeting its target. Its interesting how a policy intended to improve customer service can result in such an unsatisfactory customer experience.
