Just remember.... none of us get to live forever either. If thats not the lesson to be learned I dont know what is. All we got is now, the rest is uncertain. How we choose to live, love, & express ourselves to one another is up to us, tomorrow may never come, so choose wisely. Grief brings out negative emotions, so to heal the regrets need to be replaced by dreams, judgment by forgiveness, hate by love, and anger by kindness. I find the more I focus on what I miss about Corey as opposed to how much I miss him, the more the meaning of his life comes into focus. Im guess he was a safety net to many people, I know he was to me..... The person you could tell things to that really matter to you & show emotions you wouldnt show to other people. He was non judgmental in a way other people arent. Maybe we all think we had different unique, connections with him, but maybe he had the very same connection to all of us. I really think he was a cheerleader for everyone. I know from the things he said that he cared about his daughter more than anything in this world. These are the things that really matter. Remembering Corey is not all about us; its about supporting all the things that matter most to him. The rest doesnt matter. “That which is hateful to you, do not unto another: One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.”We are all one. When one is harmed, all are harmed.
