Just returned from my bi-monthly oncology appointment and my PSA level is down to a tiny 0.07 np/ml, half what it was in February. Guess Ill go ahead and splurge on another haircut after all. Jackie and I have a little ritual going over the last year or so where I ask her what my PSA will be, and she guesses it on the nose just about every time like some sort of wizard. I might have to start sleeping on my back so I know shes not taking clandestine readings. (Just kidding, PSA is taken from a blood test.) Also had to have another hormone shot to go with the hormone pills I take daily, but this new shot was given in my stomach. Id like to tell you I snapped the first couple of needles in half when I flexed my rock-hard abs, but the only thing hard on me these days are stairs. Nope, when the nurse poked me in the belly with that needle, a little frosting oozed out. All in all, a great day.
