Just returned from speaking to a wonderful group of Health Care providers and so enjoyed reactions from the audience. Lots of love, inquiry, future speaking engagements and sales made its way into my heart when it was over. I suddenly realized....I am living my dream right here and right now, even on my day of rest. For years I was afraid to speak in public. I hated writing in my journal even more. But just when you think you have life all figured out - WHAM! - A thunk on the head turns your world upside down. I got home about 30 minutes ago and saw messages from two different women, inviting me to be one of their guest experts on their show/panel. Expert? Expert isnt something Ive ever wanted to be called but I started to think about why. For years I persevered through the pain of a traumatic brain injury. I persevered through the not knowing how I was going to make my next dollar, or calm my flustered husband who was upset that I wasnt making the kind of money hed hoped, even after a few years. I persevered through the mentality that I wasnt meant to make money and that I should give all of my services away for free. The truth is, money is like oxygen and you cannot live without it. Take it from someone who knows...you will bring as much money into your life as you are open in your mind to receiving it. If you think small, youll make small amounts. If you expand your knowledge, use the talents God gave to you, learn from those whove been there, youll make more than you dreamed possible. Doing what you love, and becoming great at it, makes you an expert in the minds of others. Expand, use your gifts, be grateful, give back and youll watch your fruit multiply.
