Just saw a rather disgusting skit on German TV. The skit was basically ridiculing the media for being biased toward the Ukrainians in the current crisis with Russia, these Germans basically taking the position that the Russians are the good guys and only annexed Crimea and are taking control of eastern Ukraine because the Ukrainians are a bunch of evil Nazis (you have to love it when the Germans attack people for being Nazis), but thats not what I find disgusting about this, that is just an opinion and not really a surprising one. Russia still owns whats left of East Prussia and they dont seem to mind. No, what was disgusting was that the German media was portrayed wearing WW1-era Imperial German uniforms or helmets. They do this because they want to look evil but cannot dress up like Nazis (thats against the law) so they dress up like soldiers from the Kaisers time. It is no different to how neo-Nazis use the Imperial German flag because their beloved swastika has been banned. So, now more people associate the symbols and uniforms of Imperial Germany and the Kingdom of Prussia with Nazis and THAT -is absolutely disgusting. They should be sued for libel or defamation or something. Its positively despicable.
