Just saw that Robin Williams committed suicide due to Asphyxia. What a shock. I remember promoting him in the round at the R.P.I. fieldhouse in Troy, NY with Bobby McFerrin. I had moved his hotel to downtown Albany my father in law at the time Tony Schillaci owed a very cool and classy club called On The Shelf. I brought up an improv group from NYC and told Robin about it. I had just paid him $50K and he performed with the improv group for 2 hours for free. He was a very very funny guy. And those who were invited to come to On The Shelf after his show at R.P.I have a memory that will live forever. R.I.P. Robin you will be missed.
