Just saw this amazing documentary (jodorowskysdune/trailer.html) about the film Dune that never was--directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky. Mind blown. Reminds me of other visionaries like Nikola Tesla whos final dream never came to be because people were scared of his ideas and refused to give him money. It also reminded me of Terry Gilliams quest to bring an epic Don Quixote (rottentomatoes/m/lost_in_la_mancha/) to film that, at the end, had to be scrapped as well. There are so many other examples. I want to feel that synergy and build that momentum using activism, art, music, theatre, film, literature, etc! But collectively! Gahhhhh! I feel so stymied right now.
