Just sharing to you this incident that happened to my friend. Yesterday afternoon, while at a very slow moving traffic in EDSA approaching Guadalupe, he was distracted by this young boy who was pounding on his cars trunk and hitting the rear windshield with a stick. Upset, he alighted from the car to confront the boy but as soon as he can get to him, the boy run away. Thinking the boy was just bullying him, he went back to the drivers seat. As he was entering, another boy hold down his shoulders and poke a knife by his waist and he was told to just sit on the car. As he was sitting, another boy was already opening the cars other front door and immediately took his bag and before he knew it, both boys have already ran taking away some valuables from his which includes his wallet, ATM card, credit card, a Playstation Portable and other important documents. Please be aware of this modus operandi, which is rampant in the EDSA Guadalupe area. I believe some of our CSRs have already been victim of this activity. Children as young as 12 to 15 years of age, high on rugby are victimizing unaware passengers. They pry on taxi passengers and private vehicle drivers and passengers. Please keep your car doors locked at all times and NEVER alight your car whenever anyone tries to distract you. Beware & be careful ! Solomon
