Just taken my sandy out to public woods to try and train her how to behave around other dogs etc as shes new to our family and hasnt had the chance for a decent life with her previous owner hence why i got her. She does bark and scrat to try and get to other dogs in an excited way. I always keep her on her lead. In the woods we came across 2 boxer dogs (alot bigger) that wer off ther leads and running towards my staff barking, i pulled mine to one side trying to calm her down and keep her from harm from the boxers, and the owners just carried on walkin asif it qasnt happening! I wasnt happy. It happened again about ten mins later my staff got attacked in the face by another dog off its lead. Whats your views?
