Just thinking about dear friends - past and present. Seems there is so much heartache, illnesses and uncertainties - and so often it comes in bunches - making burdens seem so much heavier. Please pray for my friend Robyn Moses daughter, who had cervical cancer surgery yesterday (shes a young lady); and for our family/friend Kevin Johnston, 45, (son of Wells and Mary Jane, brother to Dee Dees hubby, Mike) as he is battling lymphoma in its worst stages. Then for those of us who were at Flint River many moons ago - our dear Edith Price: SS Teacher to us young couples, mentor, friend, selfless servant of the Lord, passed away yesterday at 89 years of age. Friends at FBC Meridianville were blessed to have Edith in their church as well. The viewing will be at Laughlins Friday (18th) from 5pm to 7:30 pm; and funeral, also at Laughlins at 11 a.m. Please pray for her daughters Sally and Georgia and families as they go through the process of grief. Beautiful day. Weather. So Im trying to allow it to lift my heart to praise the Lord in the storms of life as well as the beautiful times. Trusting my favorite verse Romans 8:28 and leaning on Gods everlasting arms. Love to all our dear friends!!! Be blessed.
