Just this week there have been major announcements at my j-o-b. To say it was a surprise would not be entirely true because there were signs along the way. Ive been through this over the last several years but this is by far the one that will most likely have the biggest impact and the first time that my j-o-b will cease to exist. Im not exactly sure when that will be but most likely within the next 12-18 months. I am thankful for the way that its all being handled. We have been given plenty of notice to be able to seek wisdom, pray and put into action the plan the God is revealing. In our experience, its actually kind of exciting to walk this path by faith to see the plan revealed along the way (but I must admit it can be nerve-wrecking at times). Change is coming and we have been and will continue to seek wisdom. In my 45 years on this earth, I have learned that putting your faith and trust in anything other than the Lord is futile and a waste of your time. Dont get me wrong; Im not going to just pray and hope God drops something in my lap. Ive realized that my God has blessed me with talents and decision making ability to use for His glory. All of my ability is not a testament to me but instead is a testament to Him. To be obedient and display faith we will take action. Karen, the girls and I are blessed beyond measure. Change is already happening and we are embracing change. We appreciate your prayers but let me ask you to pray this way - pray that in and through this journey God is glorified and that people are drawn to Him. -Greg Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the bretheren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever because All flesh is grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, BUT the Word of the Lord endures forever. I Peter 1:22-25
