Just took a quilt to one of the sweetest ladies I know. She is 93 and tried for the Christmas quilt I had made and didnt end up with it. So I made her a lap quilt very similiar to the other one and took it to her. It brought me great joy in giving something, I totally enjoyed doing, to someone who just appreciates it so much. She was so happy she could hardly speak and when she did she said I would be blessed for sure and could I lean down so she could give me a kiss. I just felt amazing when I left her home. It is a blessing to be surrounded by so many wonderful friends. I hope as the new year arrives we can all take the time to do something special for someone that doesnt expect it and it makes them smile. Those smiles spread and it becomes a nicer day! So I hope each and everyone of us has a year full of smiles and happiness! Love to all my family and friends. May God bless you in the New Year!
